ABOUT EAR SUCTION;
Blocked ears can be very frustrating and can be caused by a range of issues, not just wax build up.
We have two qualified ear suction Registered Nurses available to visually inspect your ears and guide you on the best course of action for your individual circumstances.
If wax build up is the issue, micro suction will be used, along with any required ear tools to gently remove the wax.
We will also provide you guidance in after care treatment and prevention.
Ear camera available to use during appointment if necessary.
ACC FUNDING
Joanne is an accredited ACC provider, and can provide services to those who have ACC funded hearing loss. Please text Jo to book an ACC funded appointment.
Surcharge is $20.
MSD FUNDING
We are a Ministry of Social Development approved service. Payment is via your Green/Payment Card.

We offer a Hazardous Substances Training Course!
LOOP has partnered with other reputable businesses to offer training to help you meet section 4.5 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulation 2017.
Haz-Subs Training Limited has been established to solely provide online training options for organisations and industry. The main focus is for those using, storing, handling and manufacturing hazardous substances, but in the future we will also develop and offer other relevant online training, information and resources.

We assist in locating safety data sheets, provide guidance on the development and maintenance of your inventory, offer strategies to minimise workplace risks effectively, as well as offering general information and knowledge relating to Hazardous Substances.

Driver Medicals (DL9)
We understand that many GP's are often too busy to undertake driver medicals which are required by law when applying for special licenses.
Our process takes no longer than 30 minutes, and ensures that you are medically fit to drive.
Electrical Testing and Tagging
LOOP offers electrical testing and tagging of all portable appliances (PAT), and includes testing of 3 phase equipment.
We are fully mobile and come to your site, with the latest equipment to make testing efficient and as least disruptive as possible. There is no job too big or small, and we offer a unique approach to our testing that will save you money!
We also offer special pricing in January and February to students attending University Halls of Residence or Boarding School, who require their electrical items tested and tagged.

About our Nurse
Joanne Graham is an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner with a Degree in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration (Occupational Health and Safety) from Massey University. She holds Graduate Status with the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM) and is registered with HASANZ, endorsed by both ACC and WorkSafeNZ as an Occupational Health Nurse and General Health & Safety Practitioner.
Joanneās diverse qualifications include and aren't limited to; being an Ear Nurse in the Ear Nurse Specialist Group of NZ, MSD-approved, a prescriber of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), a musculoskeletal risk assessor, and an accredited SafePlus assessor. As a member of the New Zealand Occupational Health Nurses Association, she is well-equipped to provide high-standard, evidence based health monitoring and safety services.
Joanne works closely with iwi and trusts to provide specialized mental health and disability services, ensuring support reaches those who need it most.

Respirator Management Program & Fit Testing
Aligning with AS/NZS 1716:2012, Respiratory Protection Devices. Aligning with AS/NZS 1715:2009; Selection, use and maintenance of respiratory protection equipment.
Both Jo and Jarrod are competent fit testers, both on the Commit2Fit register - Commit2Fit - New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society (nzohs.org.nz).

Workstation Ergonomic Assessments
Incorrectly set-up workstations can cause a lot more damage than good- it can increase health related risks.
Workstation Assessments can improve productivity, overall wellness, as well as reduce absences.
We offer full workstation ergonomic assessments with a complimentary report, action plan and handy tips/guides that will be provided following each assessment.
Each assessment takes roughly 20 minutes and is vital for wellbeing of staff. We have two qualified assessors available.

Noise Assessments
Exposure to loud noises within the workplace can have a great affect on hearing. It is a legal duty required by employers to ensure that workers aren't exposed to unsafe noise levels.
Jarrod completed his noise assessment competency requirements in 2017.
We offer preliminary noise assessments, and full detailed noise assessments.
These assessments include testing hearing protection, recommendations on noise reduction and controls, workplace/worker exposure, as well as workplace designs to minimise/reduce noise.
You will receive a report at the end of our findings, recommendations on noise reduction controls, and workplace design to minimise and reduce noise levels at the source.

Training
From how to run Toolbox Talks, manage Health and Safety meetings, to specific training for Directors and Officers, we can develop training customed to your requirements. This can include Health and Safety Fundamental workshops for workers new to health and safety, respirator management programme training, hearing conservation programmes, hazardous substance training and many other topics.

Each quarter we run a FREE health and safety together forum for local businesses. This is designed to provide a forum for discussions on health and safety, with the attendees helping to set agenda topics for future forums.
